That's right, Lion is going to be released through the Mac App Store so you can purchase and install it without leaving your desk. There are a lot of new features, including Launchpad which displays your installed apps in a very similar manor to the iOS. Another new feature is Resume which lets you pick up where you left off on your apps, even after a system restart.
